About the director
Brad McMillan was named the inaugural Executive Director of the Institute for Principled Leadership in Public Service. For nearly a decade, Brad served as Congressman Ray LaHood’s district chief of staff. Prior to his governmental career, Brad practiced law for ten years, including serving as a senior staff attorney for the Illinois Supreme Court and Illinois Appellate Court (3rd District). He has a Juris Doctor degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law and a B.A. degree in Political Science from Illinois Wesleyan University.
